Abstract

The application and development new methods to replace reference methods in the mechanical structure analysis to reduce computer resources while still ensuring the required accuracy are the purpose of this study. This paper focuses on the uncertain critical buckling load in the geometric and material variability for structures in linear buckling simulations. Radial Basis Function metamodels are applied to reduce computational time in the linear buckling analysis by the finite element method. The efficiency of metamodel is compared with the reference method in the calculation cases. The research results are used to predict the instable structure and reduce experimental cost.
